Some key information about the church...

Where & when does the church meet?

Our Church meets every Sunday at 10:30am for our Sunday Celebration Service. Aim to arrive 10 minutes early to ensure you get a parking spot in the  secure church Car Park behind the building and seat in time for the service to start in the Main Auditorium. We have Pre-Service prayer time between 09:55am and 10:25am in the Main Auditorium. You are more than welcome to join but please don't feel obliged if you are new. Normally we finish by about 12:15pm  and enjoy refreshments afterwards.

We meet at:

Sheffield Christian Centre
131 Guildford Ave
Sheffield,
South Yorkshire
S2 2PR,
United Kingdom

You can see a map on our contact us page

There is plenty of  parking available on the site.

What should I expect when I visit the church?

You will receive a very warm welcome particularly from our Welcome Team who will be able to answer your questions and direct you to where you need to go.  We normally give notices after opening the Celebration Service with joyous praise songs. There will be approximately 30 mins of singing in total with opportunity for church members to pray or read a passage from the bible or share a prophecy etc. After the singing there will be a preach from one of the  Pastoral Team (or sometimes a guest speaker) with an opportunity to respond at the end of the service.
You'll find a variety of ministries to serve you and/or your family - from the comfort and security of our dynamic and exciting ministry for children, through to the main service for adults. SCC is a place where the whole family can experience God and spiritual growth. We want you to know that wherever you are on your spiritual journey, whether you're just beginning to take a look at Christianity or you already have a mature relationship with Jesus, we're here to help you take the next step spiritually and to offer you a place where you can get involved as much as you can and grow in your walk with God. Church is an inspirational place where you can meet with God.

Refreshments are served after the service where there is plenty of time to meet new people and ask more questions.

What happens to the kids at church?

We have a fantastic programme for the kids at the Church for ages 0–11ish. Children stay with their parents at the start of the service as we worship (sing songs!) together for the first part of the morning. An announcement will show up on the screens to let you know when the children need to go to their church in a separate room downstairs. The Children's church team will assist you with registering your children (if it's your first time) and show you where you collect them from after the Celebration Service.
Our children’s teachers have been CRB checked and are passionate about children. We strive to create a safe and exciting environment for children to learn, develop and grow in their spiritual lives.
For more information about what happens in the children's work please visit the relevant age groups for you under church life.

Is there a dress code?

No! Please just be yourself and come dressed in your 'normal' clothes.

Will I have to join in?

Not at all!
You are free to simply observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.
